When Katrina hit, no one expected the devastation it caused. Among its many casualties is Charity Hospital, a historical landmark and constant servant of the community.  What was once the busiest hospital in the whole nation has been reduced to an empty shell.  This piece of history deserves to continue serving the people of New Orleans.
